Windlehurst School provides school places for children with an EHC plan stating Social Emotional and mental Health needs for the Stockport Metropolitan Borough. We have 2 sites within the Stockport Borough supporting 48 secondary school age pupils.

We are a unique school offering vocational and academic qualifications to enable all our pupils’ successful outcomes.

We aim to provide a safe, caring environment where all achievement is valued and celebrated.

Here at Windlehurst all staff strive to provide… ‘strong vision for the future of the school which is shared by leaders and staff.’ ‘Positive relationships between pupils and staff are nurtured and valued.’ ‘Pupils say that they feel safe, secure and well cared for in school.’ (Ofsted May 2019)

We achieve this through our 4 core values
Respect – for each other, for ourselves and for the environment we are in

Courage – within ourselves; to embrace new challenges, to succeed

Inspire – ourselves and others around us to achieve

Achieve – value and celebrate successes
